It also works to enhance the idea of “space rock” which the band have stated that they were very much trying to create with this album.ĥ – The mise-on-scene of the cover also has a very sci-fi feel to it, in particular the costumes worn by the men. This gives an idea that the album is quite literally “out of this world”. This takes the imagery of the red desert to another level which now suggests that the scene taking place is happening on another planet, most likely on Mars. The colours work together to stand out making it a very recognisable album cover.Ĥ – Hidden behind the clouds in the sky is the faint image of the world. ![]() The red dusty desert is similar to what is seen in the outback of Australia, especially with the bright blue sky to accompany it. This is something I should bear in mind when creating my product.ģ – The setting of the picture on the album cover works to give it a very remote feel to it. This works to relate the two together in a clear way for the audience, as well as maintaining a level of style by making it look very professional. It is also an instant, clear sign to that this is their album and so fans will therefore buy it.Ģ – Underneath the band name/logo is the album title clearly printed in the same font as the logo is. It is placed very clearly on the CD cover so that there is no confusion as to who has produced the album.
